Key Laboratory of Publishing and Convergence Development of General Administration of Press and Publication of the People’s Republic of China

The “Key Laboratory of Publishing and Convergence Development”relies on the academic advantages ofthe university in digital publishing, digital printing, e-commerce, etc., by cooperating with the well-known publishing institutions in China through studying the strategies of the integration and development of traditional publishing with emerging media through the holo-authentic experiment. The strategy and specific path mainly explore the frontier issues of the comprehensive transformation and upgrading of the publishing industry based on Internet-based interactive publishing, all-media publishing, on-demand printing, and green printing. While cultivating the specialized talents needed for the future development of the publishing industry for the country, it also develops relevant industry plans and standards for the country,and produces academic papers, complete research projects, and submit academic reports.

This lab not only provides a holo-authentic digital printing experiment environment for teachers and students of the department of publishing, but also works with publishers to experience the real-time on-demand publishing process and the complete media development process of content products, and to provide publishers with a new publishing business model and experimental site.
